England Set for Successive Grand Slam Titles

Eddie Jones may not have had anything good to say about the way Italy approached their Six Nations match at Twickenham but England came through it and look well placed to win their second successive Grand Slam title.

You must go back to 1998, to find the last time a country won back-to-back Grand Slam titles and it France who achieved the feat, all be it on the old format of the Five Nations.  If England succeed in winning every match this season, they will become the first country to do this in successive years, since the formation of the Six Nations in 2000.

Their toughest remaining fixture comes at Ireland on the 18th March but first, Eddie Jones’ team must play a rejuvenated Scotland at Twickenham.  Scotland will be buoyed by their 29-13 victory over Wales last time out and will head to London with more confidence than ever before in the Six Nations tournament.  You must go back to 1983 to find the last time Scotland defeated England at Twickenham and this underlines the size of the task facing Vern Cotter and his players.

Despite the win over Wales, defeating England at Twickenham would be a major upset and you can be part of the action, thanks to a Links Hospitality Six Nations package.  We have official Six Nations hospitality available for this huge game on the 11th March at Twickenham, offering great seats inside the stadium, superb four-course lunch, complimentary bar, celebrity guests speakers and so much more.
