Titanic Clash to Look Forward to in Cardiff

Posted by Daniel Price on

With the first week of Six Nations action producing a great win for Scotland, good performance by France and some excellent tries for Wales, there is plenty to look forward to this weekend.

Wales sit top of the 2017 Six Nations table, despite having gone into their match at half-time with Italy trailing 9-3.  The Italians were tremendous in defence but Wales opened things up in the second half and scored three tries to seal the win.  Wales welcome England to the Principality Stadium this Saturday, hoping to put an end to the visitors fine run of form.

England struggled to overcome France at Twickenham last week and we forced to come from behind to win the match 19-16.  It was England’s 15th win in a row, which set a new national record but they know they must improve, if they are to defeat Wales in Cardiff.

The Welsh have won five of the last seven meetings between the teams in Cardiff and the passionate home crowd would love nothing more than to put an end to England’s winning streak.  When Wales have defeated England in recent games, it has been spectacular, the question is, do they have the personnel and mentality to beat a team who are currently ranked second in the world?
