Links Hospitality is a family-run sports hospitality company based in Glasgow. And we take pride in doing things differently from our more corporate rivals.
We're rooted in sporting heritage
Our founder, Aaron Collins, is a Maori with rugby in his blood.
His father, John, was a former All Black and Poverty Bay rugby great. And in the 1990s, Aaron played for Waikato, Bay of Plenty and later Glasgow Warriors.
His Waikato debut was an occasion to remember — playing at centre, his try helped the province to a famous 38-10 victory over the British and Irish Lions on their 1993 tour of New Zealand. You'll recognise the names of some of his team-mates that day: future All Blacks coaches John Mitchell and Ian Foster, and Warren Gatland, who later led the Lions on a return tour of his home country.
After his rugby career, Aaron went on to compete in strongman competitions, including the World's Strongest Nation.
And having gained so much from his experiences, the focus is now on connecting people through the excitement of the big sporting events.
What sets us apart from other corporate hospitality providers?
Large-scale sports hospitality often lacks the personal touch. Sure, you’re wined and dined, and probably get to enjoy a good view of the action. You may even meet a famous face or two. But the experience can leave you feeling like just another face in the crowd.
At Links Hospitality, it’s our mission to deliver an unforgettable day out for each of our clients. One that’s fun — not straight-laced or uptight.
The importance of Maori custom
Our business is half Maori, half Scottish and we aim to represent the best of both cultures!
We live by the Maori custom of welcoming every guest into the 'Whānau' (family) by making them feel at home. That means paying close attention to each individual’s experience.
Family is also about togetherness. We know nothing unites people like sport, and we’re here to harness the power of grand sporting occasions to help you make meaningful business connections.
We genuinely love what we do and that’s reflected in our level of service. It’s helped us build a strong base of loyal clients, who rely on us for all their corporate hospitality needs.
Over the past 20 years, we’ve built a reputation as one of the UK’s leading corporate hospitality companies.
We’re proud to have been an authorised hospitality provider for the 150th Open Championship at Royal St Andrews. We’ve been granted that same status at the 151st Open Championship in Royal Liverpool in 2023.
But it's not just golf — we're an official hospitality supplier at many of the world's top sporting events.
We provide packages at Wales rugby union matches, F1 Grand Prix, Wimbledon and the biggest meetings in the horse racing calendar, including Royal Ascot, the Cheltenham Festival and the Grand National.
We’ve also built relationships with some of the biggest names within the sport and entertainment industry. We invite them to our events so you get a chance to rub shoulders with current and previous sports and entertainment legends.
